Adam Baldwin was born in Winnetka, Illinois on February 27, 1962. He studied at the New Trier Township High School Ease and loved to write from very early on. Today, he contributes blogs and is a regular ‘tweeter’ on Twitter. His acting career took off in the 80’s and he rose to fame, playing the role of the troubled outcast, ‘Ricky Linderman’ in ‘My Bodyguard’. He has also appeared in bigger projects such as ‘The X-Files’, ‘The Poseidon Adventure’, ‘The Inside’, ‘Smoke Jumpers’ and a famous television series that catapulted him to prominence—‘Fireflies’. Apart from the numerous movies and television projects he actively engaged in, he is also known for NBC’s ‘Chuck’, in which he played the character of John Casey, a protagonist in the show.
He has won countless awards for his contribution and efforts, however, one particular award is extremely dear to him, or so he states. And that is, the SyFy Genre Award in 2006 for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the blockbuster series ‘Fireflies’, where he played the character of Jayne Cobb.
Known for having a gravelly voice, Baldwin has lent his voice to a multiplayer online game called ‘DC Universe Online’ and for Xbox 360 games such as ‘Halo 3’ and ‘Half Life 2’.
Adam Baldwin is the father of three children with his wife, Ami. The family is currently residing in the United States.
